Volunteers and Business Assistance

We currently need help from people and businesses with the following skills:

We need volunteer rainers all over Australia. If you are a qualified Dog Trainer and can give us a helping hand, please send us a brief resume outlining your experience, qualifications and times available.

Location: North Brisbane. We are looking for someone to help with filing, writing letters, computer data entry, posting marketing materials, generally keeping our Bunker in order etc. We need someone to help out for a few hours per week. Availability to attend the Bunker in Newmarket, Brisbane on a Wednesday would be an advantage. An interview will be conducted for this position.

Primarily Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign skills. Approx. 2 hrs per week. Ability to work with short turnaround times and must be reliable. If you are interested, please express your interest below.

Young Diggers is frequently invited to attend Defence and Animal Rescue events, but we need some volunteers to attend for an hour or two and set up tables, banners, brochures etc. If you can help, please contact us. Remember to let us know where you are located so we can call on you when help is needed.

If you have a flare for writing and a willingness to chase people up to meet deadlines, we need you. We have a quarterly newsletter and we need some help sourcing and putting the articles together for our members. Please contact us if you would like to help. Availability to attend the Bunker in Newmarket, Brisbane on a Wednesday around each quarterly deadline would be an advantage.

All our volunteers need to have a great attitude and a willingness to assist our serving and ex-serving diggers and their families. We are all volunteers, so you'll sometimes need to be a little flexible with your time.

Young Diggers provides a variety of support services and programs to help serving and ex-serving personnel of the Australian Defence Force, First Responders and Custodial Correctional Officers.
